Princess Charlene Suits Up for Monaco National Day 2025 Celebrations

Princess Charlene of Monaco put a contemporary spin on patriotic dressing with her striking white pantsuit for the Monaco National Day 2025 celebrations in Monaco on Wednesday.

Joined by distinguished members of Monaco’s royal family, including husband Prince Albert II and 10-year-old twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, Princess Charlene’s pantsuit featured a single-breasted blazer with coordinated wide-leg trousers.

The royal’s blazer was crafted with long sleeves and sharp, angular lapels. A single button at the waist provided some slight movement, while the wide-leg trousers of Princess Charlene’s look signaled a proportional silhouette.

Beneath her single-breasted blazer, Princess Charlene wore a white blouse with a lavallière detailing. The royal coordinated her attire with pointed-toe heels and added a white domed fascinator with a birdcage element to frame her face.

Princess Charlene’s accessories included a pair of bold stud earrings and a military pin in shades of red and white adorning her lapel. A patriotic sartorial statement was made alongside her daughter, Princess Gabriella, who wore an all-red look complete with Mary Jane flats, a double-breasted coatdress with Peter Pan collar and headband fascinator.

The colors of Monaco’s flag served as inspiration for Princess Charlene and Princess Gabriella’s attire on Monaco National Day, favoring contemporary spins and a take on mother-daughter coords. Princess Charlene also follows suit with the ongoing royal power suit trend.

Like Princess Charlene, Kate Middleton recently favored a pantsuit style with a statement blouse for her daytime engagement in London on Tuesday. The Princess of Wales wore a gray Roland Mouret suit with a white blouse, also including a lavallière element.

Princess Charlene’s 2025 Monaco National Day attire was a departure from her 2024 look, which featured the royal in a lilac pantsuit with coordinated fascinator. Like this year, though, the former competitive swimmer coordinated her attire with her daughter.
