66°North and District Vision have developed a winter running collection for Fall/Winter 2025, described as an Arctic-grade exploration kit built to withstand extreme conditions without compromising on style, according to the press release.

The lineup includes key winter running apparel such as the Reykjavik Running Balaclava Top, featuring a convertible balaclava and stretch fabric; Reykjavik Running Tights with drop-in cargo pockets; and the quick-dry Reykjavik Running Shorts.

The standout piece is the Tindur Down Jacket, also available in a version with heritage-inspired patches. Taking cues from the custom 66°North suit worn by the first Icelander to summit the north face of Everest in 2013, the high-performance down jacket is engineered for Arctic conditions with GORE-TEX Labs Windstopper face fabric and filled with 800 fill-power goose down for maximum warmth-to-weight efficiency. Additional technical features include a detachable hood, extended collar, water-repellent finish, and a microfiber-lined eyewear pouch to prevent lens scratches.

Accessories are also central to the collection. Two signature eyewear models – the Keiichi and Eiichi – feature shatterproof polycarbonate lenses, oleophobic and anti-reflective coatings, and the D+ Photochromic lens for seamless light adaptability. The capsule also includes a heritage-inspired Tindur Down Hat, designed to securely carry eyewear, and ultra-insulated trousers built to endure Arctic extremes.

The kit reflects District Vision’s ethos of mindful living fused with high-performance sportswear, while honoring 66°North’s near-century legacy of functional durability.

“Since its founding in Iceland in 1926, 66°North has always been about creating gear for survival – and this partnership with District Vision embodies that heritage,” said Helgi Óskarsson, CEO of 66°North. “We truly admire District Vision’s philosophy of mindful performance. They are the ideal partner to help us explore what it means to move with intention, in any climate, and to take our next bold steps into the running world.”

The collaboration will be available online and in stores starting October 23.
